Marvel editor Warren Simons recently asked me to be one of the cover artists doing variant covers for the first issue of this new Iron Man title. After a variety of sketch ideas, this is the layout that we finally came up with.

IRON MAN: LEGACY OF DOOM #4 COVER

Here's a look at the fourth and final issue of my upcoming Iron Man mini-series with penciller Ron Lim and writer David Michelinie.  This cover features your first look at Shellhead's new Mystical Armor that Ron and I cooked up for the series' pulse-pounding finale'.

UNDERGROUND EMPIRE COVER

Brian Pittman and Rachel Long are folks who I knew many years ago when I lived in Long Island, NY.  They are currently in the process of pitching concepts in Hollywood and asked me to create cover art to go along with their most recent proposal.  There is a very neat story that occurred short after I completed this assignment for them.  Check out their e-mail about a "Brush with Greatness" on this month's letters page.

kolchak: the Night stalker #1 Variant cover

Mary Ferrigno commissioned me to recreate my cover to this David Michelinie mini-series and asked me to include the monster who was not present on the original version.

This cover was the first pass that I did for the third issue of the series.  I loved the idea of the character doing something that was clearly forbidden--with a smirk on his face.  However, the editor felt that it might be a bit misleading, so the concept was nixed in favor of a cover that was more in-tune with the interior storyline.

This cover was purchased by Mary Ferrigno, who commissioned this month's Kolchak #1 variant, as well.

This page, pencilled by my good friend and colleague Ron Lim,  was commissioned by Frank A. Baldevarona, who asked me to add my inks to the mix.

For those of you who are on my waiting list for a commissioned drawing, please keep in mind that I'm hard at work inking the IRON MAN:THE END special edition and drawing the Rittenhouse Iron Man chase card set.  Additionally , I will be on the road promoting the release of Iron Man: Legacy of Doom during the last half of April. Normally, I would be turning your commissioned drawings around quickly (as I'm known for doing).  But, recently, I only have a very small window of time each month to devote to my beloved art clients.  

Your patience is greatly appreciated and I will do everything in my power to complete your commissions in a timely fashion.
