HULK VS. HERCULES PREVIEW

Marvel Editor, Nate Cosby, contacted me last month about working on a double-page spread for the upcoming HULK VS. HERCULES book.

The story's subtitle is (Here's one you've never heard before at Marvel--) " WHEN TITANS CLASH" and it’s pretty much about Hulk and Herc beating the snot out of everyone and each other.

Here’s the basic description of the page that the writers (Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente) had in mind for me.

Pages Nine and Ten:

Back on Earth, Hercules is in Madison Square Garden, taking on the entire UNLIMITED CLASS WRESTLING FEDERATION single-handedly, for charity, and loving every minute of it. He invented wrestling, after all. Down goes Mangler! Take that, Demolition Dunphy! And now here comes the THING!  The crowd goes wild!

(This is before Herc’s beating at the hands of the Wrecking Crew, before the death of his friends in Onslaught and Disassembled, before the tragedy of World War Hulk. This younger, less wiser Herc kicks ass to live and lives to kick ass.)

This month, I'm presenting a couple of preview panels from the two-pager to 'wet your whistle' for the upcoming issue!
