SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #65 UNPUBLISHED COVER

I found this while looking for an old plot of mine. This was in an envelope marked "Spidey-Stuff", which included the unpublished pencil xeroxes to Paul Smith's graphic novel that I wrote--along with Barry Windsor-Smith's copious notes on the story, as well. As I remember, this cover was rejected because I misunderstood what the editor wanted. He described a giant, looming Kraven--due to Spidey being drugged, but failed to tell me that he wanted it really wacked-out and acid-trippy. The page was found in pencil form and was inked and mocked-up by me in 2005.
