On May 3rd, I'll be making an in-store appearance  at Yancy Street Comics in New Port Richey, Florida, which is just north of Tampa. Each year, comic shops all over North America play host to an industry-wide promotional event called Free Comic Book Day.  The goal of the event is to attract new fans by giving away selected issues of current comic books to all who pass through the doors of their local vendors.  

 

Last year, Yancy Street's fourth as a participant in the promotion,  attracted over 1,000 people through their store in a single day. 

Past guests of Yancy Street have included Greg Land, Mark Texeira, Ron Marz, Chuck Dixon, Brandon Peterson, Tim Townsend and Aaron Lopresti, to name a few.

 

I am honored to join that impressive list of creators and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone there on May 3rd.
