The Omnibus editions are oversized hardcovers that collect Marvel's seminal series all the way down to the letters pages. The Iron Man Omnibus will cover Tales of Suspense #39-83 and Tales to Astonish #82, the Sub-Mariner crossover issue. Essentially, this tome is a primer on the character's fundamentals for the uninitiated reader.

As someone who's make his mark on the character, editor Cory Sedlmeier asked me to write an introduction for the volume covering how Stan Lee  and Don Heck defined the character with Cold War politics, James Bond flair and melodramatic love triangles.  However, as I began writing, I wound-up relying more on my fond memories of the series as a boy than the particulars of each individual episode.

I'm honored that Cory would consider me as a contributor to this project and I thoroughly enjoyed doing my 1500 words on those quintessential Iron Man tales.I Look for details on this publication's release in future updates.
