Bob has just signed a deal to create 150 hand-drawn, full color, chase cards for a new Iron Man trading card series produced by Rittenhouse Archives.

Rittenhouse Archives is the official trading card license of Marvel and is currently

working on this new product in conjunction with  the upcoming Iron Man movie.  The trading card set not only focuses on the much-anticipated movie, but also represents the comic book side of this classic hero, which includes Bob's formidable contributions to Iron Man's legacy. 

Rittenhouse Archives will randomly include these hand-drawn chase cards in their packs as part of the promotion for this new product release.  For the collector who finds one of these trading card-size sketches, they'll own a rare, one-of-a-kind collectable from Bob Layton himself.

Although Bob has not received a confirmed release date from Rittenhouse, it's safe to presume they will be released in conjunction with the Iron Man movie's debut on May 2, 2008.
