Prior to the release of the Iron man film, David Michelinie and I were contacted by Tom Russo, a regular contributor for Entertainment Weekly. Tom is putting together an article on how our “Demon in a Bottle” storyline influenced the Iron Man movie (and how things might further play out in the sequels). David spoke to Mr. Russo by phone but, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do the interview live, due to the severe case of laryngitis I was suffering from after the New York Comic Con. So, my contributions were limited to e-mail responses. This won’t be one of those clichéd, mass-market, “Pow-!Bam-!Wham-!” articles that we usually suffer through when a comics event makes a ripple in the consciousness of the general public. Tom Russo is a life-long comic reader and our “Demon in a Bottle” storyline is something he fondly remembers from his youth. The article will appear in one of the May issues of EW, so keep your eyes peeled for it!
