THE GLADIATORS AND THE SCRIBES

I was recently contacted by Mary Heins, the editor for the National Tactical Officers Association, which is a non-profit professional resource organization for law enforcement. (www.ntoa.org) That organization publishes a quarterly journal that includes a wide array of lifesaving information for the nation’s first responders to critical incidents. One of their upcoming articles is about leadership, with the title  “Gladiators and Scribes.” . Mary saw an image of two gladiators in my art gallery archives and requested the use of it to illustrate the article. That commission was originally done for Daniel Serna a few years back. So,  after contacting Daniel to get his permission to use that piece, Mary put it all together. 

I'd like to thank both Daniel and Mary for their cooperation in making this all come together. It's a true honor to have my art used for a worthwhile endevour such as this.
