Dear Frédéric,
I am just as disappointed as you are. I have been looking forward to making the trip across the pond for several months now. Unfortunately, as nice as the promoters were, we were not able to come to an agreement concerning the arrangements for my appearance. As a result, my November trip to Lille was cancelled.
However, that’s not to say that I won’t make it over to your neck of the woods sometime in the near future. In fact, I’ve been in discussions about a book tour in Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris.
If that comes to fruition, I’ll be sure to drop you a line and let you know the dates and locations.
I apologize to you and to all my friends in Europe for not making it to the Lille Comic Festival this year.
