ADVANCED IRON #69 COVER

Tales of Suspense #41 was a comic that I wasn't able to purchase when it was originally published.  About a year later, I found a copy but was confused that the Dr. Strange who appeared in that issue wasn't the Master of the Mystic Arts.  I always wondered why Marvel used the same name for a villain--and a hero.

CONAN #24 RECREATION

This version of the 'Song of Red Sonja' Conan cover (originally drawn by Barry Windsor-Smith) was done for Alkiviadis Vlachos of Germany. I'm normally hesitant to take overseas commissions (due to the high cost of shipping and all of the paperwork) but this one was too good to pass up.

DEFENDERS #62 RECREATION

This was a fun Marvel cover that JRJR and I did way back when.

AVENGERS VS. MODOK DPS

Here's a very large piece of art that I recently found that features the Avengers against the fiendish Macrocephallic  Menace of Modok!

IRON FIST #1 RECREATION

I completed this cover recreation for  client, but eventually threw it out in favor of another layout that wasn't as close to the original composition by Gil Kane.

BEAST DECAL TRANSFER

This piece was done as a decal for a big blue Jeep that the owner has  dubbed "The Beast"  By request, this illo was done in the style of Jim Lee.

STAR WARS:EPISODE 4 PIN-UP

This piece was commissioned by aerospace wiz John Higashi--who requested that I simply come up with something that featured the main characters from the classic first Star Wars film.  I had a blast revisiting these characters.

STAR WARS: EPISODE 2 PIN-UP

This was done for the same client who ordered the other Star Wars piece in my gallery--aerospace wiz John Higashi.  I had a great time doing both of  these Star Wars pin-ups.

CHAMPIONS #1 RECREATION

This cover was commissioned by CAF member Matthew Stock as a companion piece to the original Champs #1 cover that's part of his art collection. In this version, he asked for me to keep the same composition, designed by masterful Gil Kane, but replace the characters with his favorite Marvel super-babes.

ZOOM SUIT #3 UNPUBLISHED COVER

John Taddeo has been nice enough to ask me to do a few covers for his new comic. However, this particular cover, due to a little communication breakdown, was drawn with the wrong head in Bane's hand. You can check out the upcoming Zoom Suit series by going to  www.superverse.com
