SPIDER-MAN
#129 VARIANT RECREATION
This was a very interesting commission, presented to me by CAF member
Matthew Stock. He requested that I recreate this classic cover to
Spider-Man, featuring the first appearance of the Punisher, but asked me
to incorporate a separate pencil drawing by Greg Horn and convert her into
a female version of the scourge of the underworld.

PUNISHER
#3 VARIANT Recreation
The
response to the Spider-Man #129 recreation (featuring a female Punisher)
on the CAF boards was overwhelming that I decided to do another
one--this time adapting the original cover layout to the Punisher #3 by
the talented Mike Zeck. |

Iron
Man #18 Variant Commission
This
page was commissioned by Paul Sharpe of the U.K. and is an interesting
combo of my 'Hall of Iron' poster and the original cover to Iron Man #18.
Colors by Ian Sokoliwski. |

Kolchak:
The Frankenstein Agenda #2 Cover
David
Michelinie, my long-time creative partner, was recently hired to write a
Kolchak: The Night Stalker mini-series for Moonstone Books. With a good
word from David, I got the cover assignment. Here's the latest one! |

TUSKA
SAVAGE DRAGON & HELLBOY PENCILS
This
page was commissioned by Gary Sella and was penciled by the legend--George
Tuska. Gary kindly asked me to ink the drawing and add a few finishing
touches of my own.

THREE
DITKO CHARACTERS
This
page was commissioned by CAF member Brian Carney and features three
characters from the mind of the great Steve Ditko (whom I had the pleasure
of working closely with at Valiant). This was the first time I ever had a
chance to draw the Creeper and I'm always happy to get a shot at my
personal Ditko fav--the Blue Beetle. |

man VS. DYNAMO
This
page was commissioned by Amy Katcher as a present for her guy. It gave me
a chance to work on my Wally Wood chops--having apprenticed with him
during the early days of my career. The drawing also features one of
Woody's most memorable (and hot) characters--The Iron Maiden. |

Iron
Man vs. the Super-Skrull
Here's
a look at the fantastic color of Ian Sokoliwski on this illustration.
Loosely based on the cover of Iron Man #147, the piece was commissioned by
Jeff Stout. |
