LEGACY OF DOOM MYSTICAL ARMOR Although Marvel wanted me to keep this design under wraps until IRON MAN: LEGACY OF DOOM #3 premiered, I saw that they recently solicited issue #4 in the Diamond catalogue and online. Since that cover features the Mystical Armor prominently, I figured that it wouldn't hurt to show my readers the original model sheet that Ron Lim and I came up with for the series. What I enjoy about this latest armor incarnation is that while David and I have created so many variant armors over the years, we have never concocted one based on magic. Since the technologically-minded Tony Stark has a natural aversion to all things mystical, sticking him into this armor was way too cool of a conflict to pass up. I hope you all enjoy issue #3 of the mini-series when it hits the stands in June 2008.
