There's been a lot of fervor on the internet since my impromptu appearance on the Iron Man 2 panel at the San Diego Comic Con.

Strangely enough, it almost didn't happen!

Although I had been invited to attend by Paramount's PR department, my name had been accidentally left off the guest list. When I got to the event, the crowds surrounding Hall H were so massive that security was overwhelmed. By the time I was able to get through the throng to speak to someone in charge, the presentation had already begun.

Fortunately, Barry Curtis, the head of security for Marvel Productions saw me outside the ropes and quickly escorted me inside.

I had lost my seat by that time, but a fan in the front row (whose name I can recall at the moment--please forgive me) kindly gave up his chair for me. (I gave him an autographed hardback of Legacy of Doom after the event for his kindness.)
